From the moment you step into the soft glow of Alyssa and Trevor’s wedding day, it’s clear this celebration was more than just beautiful — their pastel-themed wedding was filled with intentional details, meaningful family traditions, and pure joy. “One of my favorite parts of the wedding was simply being surrounded by all the people we love most, gathered together to celebrate our story,” shared Alyssa. With every element captured gracefully by Veronica Cook Photography, this day felt like a poetic reflection of the couple’s love, legacy, and future together.
It’s All In The Details
What made Alyssa and Trevor’s wedding even more unforgettable were the heartfelt tributes seamlessly woven into their day. Alyssa honored her mother by wrapping her bouquet in fabric from her mother’s own wedding dress — a deeply emotional gesture that added beauty and meaning as she walked down the aisle. Later, the couple used Trevor’s grandparents’ cake knife from their own wedding, adding a layer of legacy to a timeless tradition. “It felt powerful to bring that piece of family history into our celebration,” Alyssa shared.
And of course, the celebration wasn’t without a personal twist at the bar. Their signature drinks included the Chilton, a refreshing cocktail born in Lubbock — the very city where Alyssa met Trevor. “That little detail made our cocktail hour even more personal,” she said. It’s thoughtful touches like these that turned their wedding into a story only they could tell.

From the emotional walk down the aisle with both her parents to the tribute bouquet wrapped in her mother’s wedding dress, Alyssa and Trevor’s wedding was a masterclass in sentiment and style. Signature drinks with personal meaning and heirloom touches like the groom’s grandparents’ cake knife only added to the sense of connection that filled the air. “Every element, from the heartfelt vows to the family traditions and sentimental details, made the day feel like a beautiful reflection of who we are, where we’ve come from, and the life we’re building together,” Alyssa said. With soft hues, strong roots, and so much heart, this wedding was truly one that wowed.
