Embrace The Love: The Story Behind Lotus Flowers & Gift Boutique

When Luisa Prieto first started decorating wooden boxes filled with sweet treats in 2020, she never imagined her creative hobby would blossom into one of El Paso’s most unique flower boutiques. What began as small gifts of chocolate-covered strawberries and candies quickly grew into something much more meaningful—a way to help people celebrate life’s most important moments.

Inspired by the profound symbolism of the lotus flower—purity, rebirth, and resilience—Luisa chose the name Lotus Flowers & Gift Boutique as a tribute to the beauty that can grow even in challenging times. It’s a fitting metaphor for her own journey, launching a business right before the pandemic and transforming it into a flourishing creative endeavor.

In 2021, Luisa met her significant other, Eddie Olivas. Together, they shared a passion for bringing fresh ideas and modern designs to El Paso’s floral scene. Within weeks, they traveled to Houston to train in the latest floral techniques and trends, determined to build a shop that would feel different—more personal, more intentional, and always filled with love.

Their slogan, “Embrace the Love,” is more than a catchy phrase. It’s a reflection of who they are: the E for Eddie and the L for Luisa. It’s about holding tightly to what matters most and opening your heart to joy, beauty, and connection.

At Lotus Flowers & Gift Boutique, every arrangement is designed with care and meaning—whether it’s a romantic bouquet for an anniversary, a sympathy arrangement to comfort a friend, or floral décor that elevates a wedding celebration. Their goal is simple: to help people mark the moments that matter with flowers that feel unforgettable.

If you’re planning an event or simply want to surprise someone you love, Lotus Flowers & Gift Boutique is ready to create something beautiful for you. Because in the end, it’s all about embracing the love.
